Mithilesh Chaturvedi was an Indian film actor. He used to do theater in Lucknow. After taking voluntary retirement from a government job, he came to Mumbai and did many works as a theater artist while living there.

He showed his strong acting in Sunny Deol’s film ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’, Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Ashoka’, Salman Khan’s film ‘Ready’, and Hrithik Roshan’s film ‘Krrish’. Apart from this, he also worked in the web series ‘Scam 1992’ released in 2020.

Mithilesh entered Bollywood with the 1997 film “Bhai Bhai”, after which he played the role of builder Malhotra in Ram Gopal Varma’s 1998 film “Satya”.
He played important roles in the 1999 film “Taal” and Hrithik Roshan’s film Fiza.
In the year 2001, he was seen in Sunny Deol’s film “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha”, King Khan Shahrukh Khan starrer “Ashoka the Great”, and Hrithik Roshan’s superhit film “Koi…Mil Gaya”. He got his real identity from playing the role of Hrithik Roshan’s computer teacher Mr. Mathur in “Koi…Mil Gaya”.
In the year 2005, he worked in Vivek Oberoi’s film “Kisna: The Warrior Poet”, Abhishek Bachchan’s film ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ and the film “Krrish”.
In the year 2007, he was also seen in director Feroz Abbas Khan’s film “Gandhi My Father”, Ranbir Kapoor’s film “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani” and Dabangg Khan i.e. Salman Khan’s film Ready.

His son-in-law Ashish Chaturvedi shared the photo of his death through social media and said- “You were the best father in the world, you gave me your love not as a son-in-law but as a son, may God give peace to your soul”.

It is said that Mithilesh was suffering from heart-related disease. And some time ago he had a heart attack. He shifted to his hometown Lucknow to take care of his health. He breathed his last on the evening of 03 August.
